She felt a heat spread out from the point of unseen contact, flaring in her suddenly aching nipples. That invisible touch was softer than silk, more focused than tweaking fingers, all at the same time. It was all as much of a shock as would be expected, though, causing her to scramble quickly to her feet.

She saw him then. In the mirror. A quick glimpse of a face behind her, half-seen from the corner of her eye. It was Joss, smiling like he did. On TV, they called him the laughing weatherman, but what only those who knew him understood was that the gregarious honesty of the TV persona was all him, all the way down.
