The thing I love about the Apostle John's first letter to those early Christians is that he understands that we are all just kids. There are few who write with more passion than John. He writes with the passion and authority only one who was actually with Jesus could. He desperately wants us to understand the joy that Christ offered him and he wants all God's kids to know He now offers it to you!
