Norwich 1272. Tombland Fair tells the story of the people’s rebellion against church and state through the eyes and experience of 14 year old Nicolas Bromholm. As the citizens of Norwich struggle against taxation and corruption and Nicolas himself struggles with growing up, a charismatic soldier named Geoffrey Brun emerges to lead a revolution and catapult Nicolas into civil war and adulthood.
