October Hunt entwines three stories: a hunting party encounters terrorists on Mount Hermon; a young second lieutenant is sent on his first mission to rescue captured helicopter pilots in Vietnam and two officers are sent to find a missing CIA agent in Afghanistan at the start of the Afghani War.
