The Dormant Gene

Ruby, a promiscuous teenager arrives home from high school to find that, with the connivance of her elderly parents, her elder sister, Pearl, has kidnapped her six-month-old twins. The parents tell Ruby that it was done for her own good and that the arrangement is only temporary while she finishes her schooling. Pearls reasons for absconding with the babies, however, is far more personal though she is unaware that her despicable act of revenge would awaken The Dormant Gene.
