This story, the fifth in the Ociee Nash series, opens with 11-year-old Ociee frantically searching for her brother Ben in the Chattanooga Railroad Terminal. Only the first "mishap" in the novel, Ociee and Ben will experience many thrilling moments during the summer of 1900 as they run from a rabid dog, befriend a mysterious neighbor, and receive a surprise visitor from Asheville.
