Five, Six Bad Man Tricks
Branson’s summer job as apprentice to a family law attorney allows her to enjoy the city park at lunch where she stumbles across the body of a missing child as the killer watches. The next day he learns where she works and makes her a part of his killings by sending a note. Another girl is taken from a summer city event where police find a similar note to Branson. Branson’s father is part of the police investigation into the deaths caused by this child predator. She continues her work with Attorney Gerhardt on a child custody case where the father abducts the children after shooting their mother, but is pulled back into the pedophile’s case when he hides one of the girls in her neighborhood. When the police exhaust all their leads, she decides to put herself out there as bait to catch a killer.
