Rivers of Babylon

Rivers of Babylon follows the family saga of Dinah, one of thousands of captive Jews, as she and her family cross hundreds of miles to their new home. Hardships, cruelty and fear faces them daily with their harsh captors, especially Wakeem, who raped Dinah during the taking of Jerusalem. The biblical Book of Daniel lends background to the characters who join Dinah on the journey. Anxiety fills each day as they await their first glimpse of Babylon as it rises from the desert to welcome them to the city and people who will transform their existence.
