Helen's husband has cheated on her several times. Driven by despair,she talks to a priest who persuades her to give her husband one more chance. This promise is challenged when she falls in love with Darek, the man she has always hoped to find. Darek sees her moral dilemma and, realizing he is losing her to her promise, hires a prostitute to test the true character of her husband.
