Lloyd Brackett sets out alone to capture an Indian, wanted for shooting dead two men. Lloyd knows he has to bring Joe Skookum in, dead or alive, but he'd rather not have to kill him.
But maybe there's more to the story that Sheriff Brackett doesn't know yet, but will either of them live long enough to talk it over, or will they kill each other in a shoot-out in the canyon?
