Memo to the Leader

It is year 142 of the German World Empire, reckoned from 1933 when the vilified Nazi régime was born. Tenured history professor and seasoned retrotemporal researcher Dr. James Silverthorne reluctantly accepts the key role in a desperate conspiracy aimed at obliterating Deutschesweltanreich tyranny in retrospect via a desperate, clandestine return to wartime Berlin in order to thwart the efforts of SS hero of heroes Erich Lustmann, who was sent back to 1939 Berlin by Odessa expatriates in Argentina decades after the war, and armed with prescient knowledge of actual wartime events and circumstances. The former SS "Deathshead" officer’s mission to “rectify” via a decidedly outré method Hitler’s meddlesome misdirection of the war that culminated in erroneous, fanciful military decisions, his goal to thereby ensure a Nazi victory and world conquest in the wake of WW II. Fearing his “mission impossible” is precisely that, Silverthorne nevertheless doggedly pursues his world-changing crusade.
