If you thought Daytona International Speedway, founded in 1959, was fast you're in for a surprise. Bill France, NASCAR's founder, built a track bigger, wider, and faster than Daytona. It was built in Alabama, and it has an attitude. It was the scene of a drivers boycott, the largest crash in Sprint Cup racing history, and some of the wildest action anywhere.
