Hackettstown (A Short Story)

Early on a summer morning, Dave Riggler hits the road. His mission: To save a friendship. With just his wheelchair and his Walkman, he'll roll miles in search of Lisa, his pen pal. He has only a vague idea of where he's going, and obstacles -- from stairs to cars to teenagers -- line his path. With every push of his wheelchair, his goal grows closer. What he finds will challenge and change him forever.

"Hackettstown" is a story of determination, handicap, and coping with loss.
