This is a collection of recipes that my mother, grandmothers, great-grandmothers, aunts and great-aunts cooked again and again. Some of them date back to the Civil War. Many were taught to cook using these time tested treasures and this book was created to preserve them and pass them down to the next generation of cooks.Many of these recipes are family favorites and are still made today.
