The Field House

Jim Conners, who, as a student at Concordia High, broke every athletic record and became a legend, is now the athletic director at the same school. Distraught over the drowning of a student, the inquest that follows, an impending divorce, and deep budget cuts, he drives his car into the field house at night and, with the motor running, awaits his end. Serendipity, however, intervenes.
