Family Ties

When Lyle Stewart gets called home for a family conference, he is so distracted he nearly runs down a hiker. Marsha Patterson is shaken but escapes serious harm. Though Lyle and Marsha have not met before they share unspoken bonds. Both of their mothers left their fathers when they were small. Though the experiences are different, the need for family ties pulls them together.
