EXCERPT:
As I caught my breath, I looked up to see sun the start working it’s way down to the water. The clouds were changing, turning every color in the rainbow. The colors were reflected back by all the glass and steel of the tower next door. Normally I was at work this time of day. I needed to change that. I needed to spend more time enjoying the life I’d built for myself.

A quick shower left us both squeaky-clean. I tied her to the bed. Then, I leaned in close to tell her, “You’re going to lie still and be quiet. Do you understand?”

She nodded so I went on. “I’m going to bring a girl in here. If you behave, I’ll let you listen. If you don’t behave, I’ll take her to the other room and leave you here alone. If I feel particularly generous, you might even get to join in. Would you like that?” She moaned as she nodded her head. “Good. Now, no matter what happens, don’t make a sound.”
