Rachel lives in sorrow most of her life, which began when her father left them for his mistress. Years have passed but she is still strongly affected whenever she recalls that dark moment in her life. Her fiance, friends, and family don't understand. She feels alone and clings onto the only thing left her friend Matt, which in the end will effect them all.
