As Crazy As You, A Collection of Short Stories

In the five stories in this collection, we follow the life of the main character, Celeste, through various ages and stages of her life.

The opening story, "Something of Substance," is a coming-of-age tale. "The Sheets" paints a chilling picture of how Celeste deals (or doesn't deal) with her abusive marriage. In "An Honest Woman," Celeste looks for satisfaction in the arms of a younger lover and finds something she didn't anticipate. Celeste struggles to find herself in "Cowboys." In "Intervention," the final story in the collection, Celeste suffers the one loss she can't endure.
