An ambitious Party official (a campaign manager) forever seeks the fast track to political success. At a nomination meeting for a by election in the Arctic North he resorts to a criminal solution affecting an opposing nominee's rights. The victim, a local carver, gives him a carving as a gift and the campaign manager's life is changed forever!
