Medical Conditions Associated with Suicide Risk: Suicidal Behavior Among Individuals with Arthritis

This ebook identifies chronic conditions that are known to be highly comorbid with arthritic disorders and that can increase suicide risk. The authors explore the literature on arthritis and depressive, anxiety, and mood disorders. The ebook concludes with recommendations for caregivers regarding the specific comorbid conditions and the sex, and age groups most at risk, and describes research findings that demonstrate potential reductions in suicide risk among some population groups.
