A harsh childhood in a rural Jamaican community leads a fifteen-year-old girl to run away to the city for a new life. What she finds when she arrives is a sad reminder of the ugly underbelly of ghetto life and the fact that many rural to urban migrants are poorly informed about the stark uptown/downtown division of Kingston. In short, sometimes "country come to town" goes horribly wrong!
