Fourteen-year-old Zeke had heard all about the Exodus in school growing up, when entire cities were displaced so that new technological megacities could be built in their place. New Paris was so predictable, so boring, and Zeke longed for adventure. When his rival, Millie Matisse, shows him a strange coin and asks for his help, Zeke is pulled into a mystery that started at the dawn of the Exodus.
