To an intelligent wildcat like Sinstari, most bipeds are loud, overcomplicated creatures, who don't bathe nearly often enough. Despite these faults, he has chosen Barlo as his companion.

Barlo is decent enough--for a dwarf, at least--but communication with him can be a challenge even at the best of times. Now death stalks the halls of Dwarvenhome, and getting Barlo to understand him is only the first of Sinstari's problems.
