PanAm during the mid ‘60s & ‘70s was more than just a job; it was a series of adventures. I was snowbound & buried in baggage at JFK Airport during the Christmas Blizzard of ’66. I was on special assignment in Paris during the general strike of ’68. I survived 3 years of martial law in Guatemala after Amb. Mien was executed. My plane caught fire and lost its only two engines. I had a ball.
