Mojave born Walter Stump had announced the release of his new book OASES OF THE DESERT. While a book of fiction, Stump has taken stories told by the inhabitants of the Mojave. Throughout deserts of the world there are special places on or near water sources where a traveler may safely rest, meditate and reflect. The book studies the Oases of Covington's Cave, Cave Springs and Anasazi Canyon.
