The Gate Keeper

Henry Thomas has a problem with bullies. One day while looking for a place to hide on his way home from school, he stumbles into the garden of Ms. Roberts. Roberts has a tantalizing job opportunity, and she sees potential in Henry. She offers him the job of The Gate Keeper.

On his first day, Henry becomes friends with Amica, an alien refugee living on Earth. Her planet has been occupied by an alien civilization called the Angriff, a once peaceful race twisted by revenge. When Amica travels to home to rescue her father, Henry has to decide just how much he is willing to risk to keep her safe.
