Piper tries to put the pieces of her life together after the passing of her husband. Cody is investigating the mystery of the death through surveillance of Piper and her connections.
Cody soon finds he has bit off a bit more than he expected as Piper is trying to reenter the dating world.
Cody must protect her from the danger she is not aware of, and keep detached from his sexual interest.
