Trevanian's Leap

In many cultures and throughout history, there have been manhood rituals. For the boys of Penwinnard Boys' Home, it is 'Trevanian's Leap' - the jump off a high point on the cliff into a deep rock pool below. Taking the Leap is foolish, dangerous, and strictly forbidden. But Frank Ryan needs to be brave, and proving he can do this dangerous thing - maybe that will help him be brave.
