Raven's Guardian: Promises

The Raven’s Guardian Series is a story of soul mates; two individuals mated by the hands of the Spirit Gods and Fates. True mates meant to be. However, one is a skin-walker and one is not. Both share backgrounds of Cherokee Heritage. Lucian Kane is a wolf that has lived over one hundred years. Raven Dhriti has just turned eighteen. Lucian has been her appointed Guardian since the death of Both Raven’s Mother and Father.

Lucian and his Wolf didn’t care for what Mr. Rupak was implying; Lucian knew without a shadow of a doubt what he thought about Raven and Lucian together. It was written all over his face at the Homecoming Dance. He answered with a low growl to his voice “Mr. Rupak, I can promise you that Raven is not in any physical danger, nor physically hurt. As I said before, I will be in to see you this afternoon and we can discuss her situation further.”

Mr. Rupak responded “Mr. Kane….I didn’t in……
Lucian interrupted before he could finish his sentence with “Mr. Rupak, I’m quite sure you did and this warrants no further conversation.” Lucian returned the phone to the cradle and, before returning to his apartment, went to the bar to get coffee for himself, and a glass of orange juice for Raven.
