Soucouyant is the first of a series retelling Caribbean folktales updated for today's taste. In this entry, the ancient soucouyant manifests as a beautiful woman of Indian descent. She extracts her unique style of justice from a local small time thug ("bad John") whose action resulted in the suicide of a teenage girl.
