The Shape of a Name

Spanning forty years, “The Shape of a Name” follows Anoosheh, a little girl orphaned during the war in Afghanistan. Rescued from a refugee camp, she discovers a passion for learning at a school for handicapped children. Determined to help other impoverished children succeed, Anooshesh’s teaching methods bring her in conflict with the oppressive regime of her country.
