Three stories based on a super style of nature from the imagination of the author, which is very child like and so, able to see the beauty of the world in easy to follow ‘short tale form’.
The first is about superb Autumn leaves, quite rightly seen by some as beautiful things.
Secondly, what happened to some preened feathers after the author, who is also a photographer, saw their simple magic and picked them up and took them home. He introduces the to a friend, Libby ... the result is very entertaining.
Thirdly, another Autumn based story about the horse chestnut trees clever use of it’s seed chestnuts.
The authors own photography accompanies the stories and plays as much a part as the writing making the imagination into real life pictures.
It’s interesting to note that this whole project began when the authors friend Evo Nelliott said to him, when he enquires as to what he should photograph tomorrow? She replied, ‘a feather or feathers’. The stories have a wellbeing flavour, and Frankie talks about the soul of the tree, and the friendly vibration of the pot figurine. He does all of his photography in the hope that people will feel good when they look at the images.
