I was an awkward kid, never entirely comfortable with myself. Not like my older cousins, who embodied what it meant to be cool. When I was finally allowed to spend my Summer vacation with them, I was determined to learn everything they knew and be just like them. The more I learned, the more I realized that being cool wasn't all it was cracked up to be. That summer changed all our lives forever.
