Sylvana is a well to do English landowning countrywoman. Her request to escort a parishioner on a Sunday morning mushroom foraging outing has unexpected consequences. Fired by their coming across a young couple having sex on a river bank, Sylvana is overcome with a wild spirit of primitive passion.
