What happens to us when we die? Where do we go? After losing his wife, medieval peasant Oswyn begins to question everything that he was raised to believe was an absolute truth. His curiosity attracts the attention of something from beyond, something that claims to be able to give him answers. But will Oswyn be able to cope with the truth about the unkown and when the wool is lifted from Oswyn's eyes, what will he do with the knowledge?
