Detective Peoples is a hard working detective. He’s driven by his need to put away the bad guy, but even a detective has to find time for a personal life.

Vhannie is his woman. His stubbornness and lack of affections caused her to marry another. But a call to a rundown motel on the wrong side of town where a dead body lay on top of a doll brought her back into his life; the body was that of her husband.
Now he’s got a second chance to keep her in his life, but he’s driven by the need to catch criminals.
A buzzing phone interrupts a most needed love making session sending him to a club reserved for those who like a little something different. He finds a dead body on the parking lot and discovers there really is a thin line between love and hate; it’s called vengeance!
