The Wrath of Aphrodite Book Two

In the last year of the Trojan war, Penthesilia, an Amazon war captain, leads a contingent of fierce Amazon warriors to Troy, to ally with the great city against the Achaean forces.
As the Amazons trample the Achaean army, she is driven to find out what happened to Achilles and his army. Why are they absent from the field?
Adopting a disguise, Penthesilia ventures deep into enemy territory to collect tactical information and discover what happened to her adversary. Successful in her endeavor she finds him. They mock the Goddess Aphrodite.
Furious at the conversation of these two great warriors, Aphrodite retaliates and sends her son Eros with two arrows imbued with a love so potent and consuming, it will have only one outcome, destruction.
