Zakharin's parody of Tolstoy's novel of the same name--but with characters and elements added from various other sources of Russian literature (including Dostoyevsky's 'The Double' and Nabokov's 'Lolita'), and set in the absurdist, cartoon-like world of the author's esoteric humor and abstruse imagination.
