Low Income and Minority Students in Gifted Programs

This e-book examines the underlying issues preventing equitable representation of low-income and minority students within existing gifted education programs. It also presents promising practices integrated in programs that have been successful in recruiting and retaining gifted and talented low-income and minority students. Further, this e-book urges for the creation of effective evaluative methods geared to promote the sustainability of programs that attract and successfully mentor low-income and minority students.
