In 1605 the Portuguese explorer Pedro de Quiros set sail under orders from Pope Clement VIII. His mission, in the name of Catholicism, was to evangelise the pagan millions who supposedly inhabited the Unknown Southland. In May 1606 he landed at Vanuatu thinking he had found the Great Unknown South landmass. There he proclaimed the area to be The Southland of the Holy Spirit. Was this really of God? This brief study takes a look at the supposed "prophecy" about Australia and shows how it has been hijacked and misunderstood. A call for discernment!
