Heath Dawson is one of those nerdy, glasses wearing kind of guy who's only friends are the people from his university's sci-fi club. Despite a rough upbringing with an unloving father and a mother only with eyes for his four years younger brother, he decided to return to his family home over the summer holiday.

Blessed with a few days to himself as his mother, father and brother depart for a family holiday, which he of course was not invited, Heath stumbles over love in an unexpected place and the person he falls for couldn't be any less like him.
