This is a collection of short stories set at differing periods, starting with a murder story set in pre-historic times, a dramatic encounter during the English Civil War, and some of the adventures of Tilly Price, a little maid working at ‘the big house’ during the Edwardian era, who is a huge fan of Sherlock Holmes.
