Reid on Government Secrecy

Government secrecy is likely one of the most controversial topics of our time. Often it is difficult to grasp the actual impacts of secrecy on our lives, but there is one book that does examine the impact over decades called Silent Heroes of the Cold War Declassified. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid wrote the foreward. This is that forward, painfully honest and sobering.

Silent Heroes of the Cold War Declassified is the non-fiction work about the trans-generational war trauma experienced by the family of CIA agents who worked on the U2 and were killed in a plane crash that was kept secret for decades. Silent Heroes of the Cold War Declassified will be made available electronically by December 1, 2014.
