The present collection (অন্ধকারের কবিতা) is the Bengali version of the book 'Poems of Darkness'.

‘আলো জ্বালে তারা,
তবু, আলো তো লাগেনা ভাল!
তাই, নিজেরা তারা আঁধারেই রয়ে গেল...’

‘ন্যুব্জা জননী জননীর মতই হেসে
গেল মিলিয়ে ভিখারিনীর বেশে
হ্যালোজেনের পিঙ্গল আলোয়...’

‘মেকি আলো নিভে হল
গুটিকয় শব্দ -
একেকটাই যেন
একেক খৃষ্টাব্দ...’

অন্ধকারের স্নেহময় গর্ভ থেকে তুলে আনা এমনই কিছু টুকরো অনুভূতি ও উপলব্ধি নিয়ে তৈরি এই কাব্যগ্রন্থ।
