Housework's Invisible Gold

Like having babies, housework is really for women only; blokes won't do it. iIm, not saying that's right or wrong. what iIm saying is that women take the attitude they take because of a lack of understanding. This book is therefore, for women only.Think about it. In Biblical times, a young lad gets sold into slavery by his brothers.Nowadays, a woman gets herself into slavery willingly (in most cases) i.e. she gets married.Joseph doesn’t complain. He gets on with his slave work with wit and friendliness.Our woman now complains about lack of appreciation, she’s angry, a skivvy.He ends up wearing gold.She ends up moaning, complaining (in silence maybe) about being a skivvy maid.Joseph discovered the hidden gold in ‘his’ chores.Our skivvy usually doesn’t, so she just lives a disappointing life.Although Joseph didn’t understand the effect he was creating, now, that same effect, it hasn’t changed one little bit, can be explained to the average skivvy maid. Will she listen or not? (usually not). Well, that’s the six million dollar question isn’t it.You really can’t allow only holidays, firemen, muscular men cutting grass in parks to remove their shirts after your can of coke you rolled in their direction, gushed all over them ... and One Direction concerts to be the only things in life you enjoy, that’s a very emotionally expensive way to live/cope (stress out, get by, somehow survive, live from one day to the next). You know how loyal chores are? You know how much they love you? They will always be waiting for you when you go into your house ... isn’t that nice!
