This is a short story about Devin, a middle school student who is new in school. Walking into the cafeteria on his first day, he realizes some friends are harder to make than others. If he wants to be friends with a certain girl, he will have to face down all the obstacles she puts in his way. He will have to prove he has brains, bravery, and heart to meet her standards.
