Despite my relief at getting the gas meter replaced the previous day, unfortunately the gas drama was to continue. I heard D and K get up early and go to have breakfast, and then also return to their room. I stayed in bed for as long as I possibly could, as once again I had had a late night. Then I got up, and got dressed for church as quickly as I could. In the back of my mind, I was thinking that I should check the gas credit, which had been placed onto an emergency credit status for us. However I was in quite a hurry, and ultimately I forgot, and dashed out of the house, once again feeling very happy about my appearance. I even decided to brave high heels to walk to church, which is something I usually never do. Thankfully I and both of my feet arrived unscathed. It was not exactly comfortable, but it was certainly not dreadfully difficult. And catching a reflection of my feet as I walked, it was definitely worth the effort! I felt so feminine and sophisticated. I wore a white shirt blouse with flowing white trousers, accessorised with those black patent leather heels and black faux patent leather bag, finished with gold jewellery and that same gold/yellow eyeshadow and nail-varnish of the previous two days, plus a full head of hair, not hidden behind headties this time.
