The Love Diaries: 9th - 15th March Moving So Fast

This week, I made sure that I was dressed for church before going downstairs for breakfast. I was wearing a green-themed outfit, with a green and white top, smart black skirt, black suit jacket, green glass bead jewellery and matching green eye-shadow and nail-varnish. On my feet I was wearing moderate heels, open-toed to show off my varnished toe-nails.
Once again D and K met me while I was in the kitchen. I was so happy that K finally got to see me looking smart! However I had already finished my meal by that time, and I was washing up. How were they both? Not fantastic, as they were hungover. D left the kitchen shortly afterwards, leaving me with K. Once again she made pancakes. I watched fascinated as she took balls of translucent looking dough, not the yellow cornmeal of the previous week, and flattened them into a very flat, very round pancake shape simply with her palms and fingertips, without using a rolling pin.
“You look good today”, she told me, with generous approval, “gorgeous!” I thanked her.
