Janus, the drug company that Ivan worked for, had created a drug that was supposed to alter the user’s personality. Disgusted by Janus’s corporate practices, Ivan took the drug so that he could report any side effects. When he woke up hundreds of miles away and with a suitcase full of women’s clothing, Ivan was only starting to get an idea of exactly how extreme those side effects were.
